Biography
Dr Trina Tay graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2011. She was then accredited as a Family Physician in 2017, after obtaining her Masters in Family Medicine.
Dr Tay completed the rigorous Family Medicine Residency training program with National Healthcare Group in 2014. During her Residency, she rotated through and trained under multiple specialists at Tan Tock Seng and National University Hospital including Geriatric Medicine, Paediatric Medicine, General Surgery and Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Psychiatry, ENT and ophthalmology, Dermatology and Emergency Medicine. Thereafter, she joined the private practice under Onecare Medical Group, finding fulfilment in the continuity of care and relationship that she fostered with her patients in the community.
Dr Tay believes that health screening is a valuable asset as the early detection of diseases helps to improve health outcomes in patients. She also believes that regular health screening promotes the development of good health habits which go a long way in contributing to the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of her patients.
Dr Tay is fluent in English and Mandarin, and conversant in Malay and Hokkien.
