Dr Yak Sin Lin graduated from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 2017. Upon graduation, Dr Yak worked in major hospitals in Singapore. Her clinical experience includes rotations across the Internal Medicine Departments in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, National University Hospital, as well as the Rehabilitation Medicine and Palliative Care Departments in Yishun Community Hospital. She also underwent rotations in General Psychiatry and Old Age Psychiatry at the Institute of Mental Health. She was part of the Inpatient Medical Team treating patients who suffered from medical and mental health illnesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She was actively involved in research at the Neuroscience Research Institute of Australia, Sydney and published a research paper in the Experimental Gerontology Journal in March 2018.

Dr Yak is now a General Practitioner who has a special interest in Health Screening and Preventive Medicine. She believes in a holistic approach to care for her patients that encompasses physical and mental well being.

Dr Yak enjoys baking, trying out new cafes with her husband, and spending time with her son during her free time.

Dr Yak is fluent in English and Mandarin.
