Biography
Dr Emma Samijono is an accredited Family Physician with the Family Physician Accreditation Board (FPAB), Singapore. She graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG).
She has extensive clinical experience working in polyclinics and major hospitals in Singapore, where she has provided comprehensive, patient-centred care across diverse healthcare settings. Dr Emma previously trained as a Family Medicine resident, during which she underwent rigorous clinical rotations across a wide range of medical disciplines, including Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Geriatrics, and Psychiatry. During her residency, she also led a quality improvement project focused on increasing influenza vaccination uptake among patients with diabetes.
Dr Emma has a strong interest in Health Screening and Preventive Medicine. She firmly believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, with an emphasis on early detection, disease prevention, and the promotion of sustainable healthy living.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr Emma enjoys swimming, travelling, and attending classical music concerts.
She is fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia, and Malay, and is conversant in Mandarin and Cantonese.
