Biography
Dr Emma Samijono is an accredited Family Physician with the Family Physician Accreditation Board (FPAB), Singapore. She graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG).​
She has extensive clinical experience working in polyclinics and major hospitals in Singapore, where she has provided comprehensive, patient-centred care across diverse healthcare settings. Dr Emma previously trained as a Family Medicine resident, during which she underwent rigorous clinical rotations across a wide range of medical disciplines, including Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Geriatrics, and Psychiatry. During her residency, she also led a quality improvement project focused on increasing influenza vaccination uptake among patients with diabetes.​
Dr Emma has a strong interest in Health Screening and Preventive Medicine. She firmly believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, with an emphasis on early detection, disease prevention, and the promotion of sustainable healthy living.​
Outside of clinical practice, Dr Emma enjoys swimming, travelling, and attending classical music concerts.​
She is fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia, and Malay, and is conversant in Mandarin and Cantonese.​
