Biography
Dr Emma graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG).
She was previously a Family Medicine resident and underwent rigorous rotations across various medical disciplines, including Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She had also led a project to increase the uptake rate of influenza vaccination among patients with diabetes. Dr Emma had extensive experience in polyclinic and major hospitals in Singapore.
A General Practitioner with a penchant for Health Screening and Preventive Medicine, Dr. Emma firmly believes in a holistic approach to patient care, starting with early screening and healthy living.
Dr Emma is also committed to lifelong learning and continuing education; she is currently pursuing her Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine.
Dr Emma enjoys pilates, swimming, baking, travelling, and going to classical music concerts. She was exposed to many cultures at a young age. Dr Emma was born in Indonesia, grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia then pursued her medical degree in Ireland before deciding to stay in Singapore.
She is fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, and conversant in Mandarin and Cantonese.
